Want a beautiful fruit bowl filled with knitted apples and pears, but simply don’t have the time?
Why not make a dish filled with delicious raspberries! They are super quick, super easy and super cute!

Hi friends, the other day we went to my husband’s cousin’s house for afternoon tea. We had raspberry pie served with a huge bowl of whipped cream. It got me thinking about how wee folk would most likely serve their whipped cream in acorn bowls and how they wouldn’t need a whole raspberry pie, but rather one or two fresh raspberries.

Construction
The raspberries are knit from the bottom up, in the round on 2 dpns. To get the lovely purl look without all the pesky purl stitches simply turn your raspberry inside out. An I-cord placemat keeps your cream/fleece filled acorn bowl upright. Enjoy!

Praise for Raspberries and Cream!

Using scraps of stash these only took a few minutes to make. The gnomes better hadn’t eat the unripe one or they’ll get tummy ache! (Bogwoppit)

Cute little knit! With CO and BO lengths used 1 gr for each little berry. (thrsedge)

These raspberries are a very quick knit and a perfect way to use up some scraps. (Saphiera)
