The thick gold strand in this yarn gives a totally different look when knitted versus purled. I chose a zigzag pattern to accentuate this in both garter and stockinette stitches.
Rectangular shawls offer greater coverage but I prefer the look of triangular shawls. Irregular fringe (on the bottom of only the middle) of this rectangular shawl solves the problem.
