We walk along the country path, watching the landscape and endless fields disappear in the distance around us and listen as the dirt crunches under our feet as we walk. The wildflowers that grow along the edge tickle our ankles and our fabrics flutter in the wind. As we approach our destination, the layers of color look frothy from their movement in the breeze and glisten with bright color when touched by the sun. Birds announce our arrival with their mimic of trumpets.
We smooth down the lacy cloth and gather our baskets, as we prepare for battle with the raspberry bushes and then a picnic on Raspberry Hill.

Raspberry Hill is a crescent-shaped shawl with a lace border and patterned body, worked from the top-down through the border. Includes both charted and written directions. US and metric measurements.

Please note that the sample used up almost all of the two skeins. If your gauge is even just a bit looser, you will need more yarn.
