Raspberry Twist is a triangular-shaped shawl featuring a series of simple twisted cables in mirrored pairs. It is finished with a cabled border, knitted sideways, which also binds of the shawl.

Construction is top down, worked flat, in one piece, from written instructions and is suitable for intermediate knitters, who are familiar with knitting cables.

Wet blocking is necessary.

Approximate dimensions of finished garment (AFTER blocking)
Length along top/straight edge: 194cm/76”
Depth from centre top edge to centre point of triangle: 80cm/31”

Yarn
This pattern calls for a fingering weight yarn.

If using fingering weight yarn, which I recommend, total yarn approx: 220g = 800–900m/875–984yd

However, in the case of this particular example I used two lace weight yarns held together.

Total lace weight yarn used: 216g = 1664m/1820yd

Skill level
