This scarf was deigned for the yarn. I love Lion Brand Suede and I have tried to knit several items with it and frogged them all. I was trying to knit sweaters and it never seemed to drape well for a fitted garment. So I was determined to knit something with this yarn I found on clearance at my local craft store. I had one skein of each color and knew it had to be something flat. So a soft fun scarf was it. It is knit in a checkerboard as well as stripes in each of the two colors. There is a hole in the middle to tuck one end in to keep the scarf in place and also for a “high fashion” look. The best and way I found to write the pattern to be least confusing is a chart. The entire scarf is charted out. It is a quick knit and a will make an excellent gift!
