The hem of this pullover is worked flat in two pieces, then the pieces are joined and the rest of the body is worked in the round to the underarm. The upper front and back are worked separately back and forth. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armhole and the sleeves are worked from the top down in the round.

Errata
For the back shoulder short-rows, it should read:

On the back short-row shaping for the left shoulder, Short-rows 9, 11, 13, and 15 should say, “knit to 4 (5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7) sts before wrapped st” before wrapping the next st and turning, instead of, “knit to last 4 (5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7) sts….”

The same applies to Short-rows 10, 12, 14, and 16 of the right shoulder.
