Raven Headband
Skill level: Beginner/Intermediate. Color work headband is worked from the bottom up in a single piece. The entire headband is knit in the round.
Size: One size fits most. Finished size: 23” around.
Materials: 3 colors (black, grey, red) 100% pure Rohrspatz und Wollmeise (fingering weight merino wool) yarn - pattern requires approximately 100 yards of black (37 grams), 40 yards of grey (14 grams), approximately 2 yards of red.
Needles: US size 2 (3.0mm) circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge). Suggested circular needle length: 16”.
Other: Stitch markers, yarn needle. Optional: straight pins.
Gauge: 32 stitches and 42 rows worked in Stockinette = 4” x 4” square on size US 2 needles.
