This blanket draws its inspiration from the famous Byzantine mosaics of the city of Ravenna in Italy, adopting the color palette of these iconic works to recreate a distinctive Byzantine-style patterned rug through the combination of various motifs. It embodies a timeless elegance and refined taste. In the eyes of the renowned Italian poet Dante, these mosaics were akin to a symphony orchestrated with colors. The blanket is available in two color schemes: the Aurora Red style exudes classical sophistication, while the Lyons Blue Style projects a sense of opulence and nobility.

The working process consists of making motifs, sewing together and adding the border. More specifically, we’ll complete all the motifs first, sew them together in place next, and add a border as the end.

The crocheting guidance will guide you step by step through completing this project, and we hope that during the process, you discover even more joy in the colors and stitching techniques used.
