RAW vest
RAW & SIMPLE is the theme behind a Raw-series, with this vest being the first.
Plain surfaces without ribbing, but highlighted with horizontal stitches.
The shape is a combination of a fitted upper-part and an A-shaped body, ending with slits.
A vest that is perfect for you who want a little more length and a shape that hangs around the hip without being “boxy”.
The RAW vest is knitted top-down. First the back, where the shoulders are shaped using short rows technique. From the cast-on-edge at the shoulder you pick up stitches for front piece. Under the armhole the back and front piece are assembled and the body is worked in the round until the edge with slits. The edges are highlighted by horizontal stitches or picking up stitches from the wrong side.
