This pattern contains KNIT and CROCHET. There is a crochet version published separately, at this time there isn’t a knit only.

The reason it is done bistitchually is my kids are sensitive to materials. They won’t wear most of the things I make because it’s crochet or the yarn is too itchy. I found they do like to wear things made with Caron Simply Soft and knit. That is why this design was made, they can’t be the only ones who have preferences. Keep in mind Caron works up more like a sport weight yarn.
