The Ray of Sunshine blanket is a colorblocked tapestry crochet project that is fun to make and a happy addition to any nursery or playroom. There are baby blanket and throw blanket size options, however the size is easily customizable to be smaller or larger than the 2 options provided.

CONSTRUCTION

This baby blanket is created with half double crochet stitches and switching colors throughout the pattern using a method called tapestry crochet. 2 colors of yarn are used in this design. Despite the squares of colors, there is no sewing involved as it is worked in rows across the whole blanket at once. You may use any colors you like.

This is a tapestry crochet project with graphs, written instructions, and stitch fiddle access for easy progress tracking.
