Ray of Sunshine
This stole is how I imagine a cat must feel napping in the ray of warm sunlight on lazy afternoons. A fun knit that’s airy and warm, this stole has mirrored, wing-like cables and lace that fan out and end in feathery picots. The pattern repeat is rhythmic and easily memorized. A special skein of fingering weight yarn in a solid/semi solid color or a gradient is perfect to show off the lace and texture. Knit top down, the lace edging can be worked until all the yarn is used.
The pattern repeat of the stole is both written and charted.
Two sizes are given: a longer, thinner stole that can be wrapped more around the neck; and a shorter, wider stole can show off the airy lace edging.
