I have a website!!!!! All my patterns should now be accessible to you!

This is a knitted pattern for the Pokemon Rayquza. Since it’s a toy, gauge doesn’t really matter but I prefer to use size 2 needles with size 4 yarn. I also knit very tight so if you don’t like my needle/yarn pairing, do whatever is most comfortable for you - just be consistent! I wanted a piece that would stand so I added wire and shaped the body so that it was more rigid. If you want something more floppy, I would think that you would just forgo all the wrapping and turning… and the wire of course! I used mostly green yarn, with some red, yellow, and a bit of pink and dark grey yarn to get what I got and white, yellow and black embroidery floss for all the details. This pattern is about 6.75 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide.

There is a bit of crocheting involved in this pattern. I used a size 5 hook which was annoying, but the only hook I had small enough to poke through my tight stitching. It does work, you just need to be patient if you choose to use the same size tools as I do! Embroidering and sewing on the fins was also tricky which is why I went to Walmart and spent $2 something on some curved upholstery needles. Threading them with size 4 yarn was terrible and ended up eventually breaking my threader, but luckily I just bought 100 more threaders off of Amazon for about $2 so I think it was worth it.
