I designed this pattern out of necessity. I used to dread reaching into my gym bag, or makeup purse just because I was afraid I might cut myself on my shaver! One day I said, “enough is enough,” and decided to put an end to this unpleasant problem once and for all. Thus, the Razor Cover was born, and I have to say, I’m very proud of this little pattern. Believe it or not, I use this little thing EVERY SINGLE DAY, and it’s a life saver! Now instead of feeling the slicing edge of steel, I feel soft alpaca yarn when I reach into my gym bag.

The yarn I chose for this pattern is only $4 per skein, and it comes in lots of fun colors. This knitting pattern is seamless, and works up very quickly. The resulting Razor Cover is super cute, and easily slips on and off.

The best part is, you don’t even need to block your Razor Cover, because after you shave and gently dry off your razor, the razor is still damp enough to re-block the knitted cover to perfection every time! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is a self-blocking knitted case for your razor blades!
