READ Granny Square Blanket Pattern
This one is for all my fellow bookworms out there :) I’ve always been the type that can’t put down a good book, so for me this blanket was a must. Most creations are completed while listening to books, after all! Whether you’re a book listener or a good old fashion paper back lover, this blanket is meant to celebrate our love of reading.
I love these graphgan style blankets because they’re completely unique and a fun way to express our individuality and loves outside of crafting.
You won’t want to miss this one!
This pattern is worked up using the Finn starburst granny square.
The pattern uses WeCrochet (Knit Picks) Wool of the Andes SW Bulky (137yds/100g) and a 5.5mm hook (size I). --This yarn feels the same thickness as your typical Worsted (#4) Acrylic yarns (which would make great substitutes!)
Pattern includes all colours used and the yarn quantities as well as exact positioning. My gift to you is taking the work out of colourwork!
The final blanket size was: Approximately 47”x 50” inches.
Pattern will include:
- yarn amounts/quantities.
- yarn colours/colour legend
- stitch glossary.
- printable pdf of blanket graph.
- full colour chart of all squares and their positioning so you can make this EXACT colour copy!
- full written instruction for the granny square used (Finn starburst granny square).
- written and video tutorial for border.
- video tutorials for the granny square as well as the slip stitch joining method.
Happy Crocheting Everyone!
L,
M
