These mitts are an easy way to play with colour. There is a little bit of easy stranded colourwork and some simple slipped stitches. There’s both a fingerless and full mitten version and the thumb is created from a gusset that’s set into the back of the mitten.

You will need about 90 m of the main colour for the fingerless mitts and 120 m for the full mittens. You will also need about 40 m each of the contrast colours.

There is only one size with a hand circumference of 7.75”, but it can be adjusted a bit by changing the needle size.
