Ready Steady Go
Inspired by the bold graphics and sharp Mod fashion of the 60s and 70s, the Ready Steady Go set make the perfect accessories for heading out into the concrete jungle. Pattern includes instructions for a hat, mittens, and a short cowl, long cowl, and full length scarf. All pieces are knit in the round; instructions are charted.
The mittens are worked in the round from the bottom up, beginning with an i-cord cast-on. Both mittens are worked the same. They are worked to a tighter gauge than the hat and cowl/scarf for added durability and better protection from the weather.
The hat is worked in the round from the bottom up, beginning with a tubular cast on for a stretchy brim.
The cowl/scarf is worked in the round in three lengths, beginning with a provisional cast-on. The beginning and end of the two shorter lengths are joined to create a single or double loop cowl. Each end of the third length is grafted to itself to create a long scarf.
