This pattern makes eight different snowflakes based on photographs of actual snowflakes.

Can be made in any size depending on yarn chosen. A couple of yarn and hook sizes suggested above but they also look good in something like Twilley’s Goldfingering..

Only a small amount needed for each snowflake. <10yds/ms each of DK acrylic for instance.
