This Rose features independent poseable petals and requires no sewing, rolling or layering. The petals are worked on a flat base and the finished rose has a flat back making it perfect for appliques and embellishments!

Everything from size 30 crochet thread to worsted yarn can be used, here are approximate sizes.

• Size 30 - 1.1” diameter
• Size 20 - 1.25” diameter
• Size 10 - 1.5” diameter
• Sport - 2.5” diameter
• Worsted - 4” diameter

This is a challenging pattern, although the stitches are simple, it can be difficult to figure out where to put them. Marking the recommended stitches and using light colored thread until you are familiar with the pattern helps a great deal.
