Realistic Owl Hat
This pattern is an advanced pattern for loom knitters, it uses techniques that are unique to my style of loom knitting. This pattern comes with video on how to, and a reference video on a guide for enlarging and decreasing size of hat. You also get the written pattern in PDF sent all to your e-mail. You will need a youtube account to view the video footage due to being set to private. Just let me know if it is a different e-mail your youtube account is connected to when you purchase. That way I can be sure to add you to the list to be able to view the videos.
This pattern is done in 1 piece and sewn to shape. It uses 3 strands of yarn in different colors to create texture, but you can use 1 color if you choose. If using 1 color 2 strands are all that is needed. Used size 4 yarn. This was done on standard Knifty Knitter 36 peg circular loom. You can use Boye circular loom, and if you use it for Martha Stewart loom make sure you use large pegs when making it. There is a brief explanation on how to make the eyes, but it is a form of art to make the eyes. Your style comes into play then.
If you get the “Loom Knit Costume Hats” ebook it will include the pattern written in the 44 peg 1/2 gauge Cindwood loom.
