Really Easy V-Stitch Beanie
This pattern is
available for free.
Cute and simple, this free crochet hat pattern uses basic hat construction to create a great-looking accessory while experimenting with different stitches (I wouldn’t want you to get bored!). It’s perfect for beginners looking to crochet something a bit more advanced, but more advanced crocheters will enjoy how fast this hat works up.
Gauge:
At end of Round 5, crown should measure approximately 6” across.
Abbreviations + Special Stitches:
ch: Chain
ch sp: Chain Space
st: Stitch
sc: Single Crochet
dc: Double Crochet
blo: Back Loop Only
V-Stitch: dc, ch 1, dc all in same st
Notes:
- You can make the hat in all one color or alternate different yarns to create colorful rows
- Add a pom-pom for even more flare!
