No tricky stitches - just knit and purl to create geometric
designs in 100% cotton worsted weight yarn.

Great gift idea - they knit up very quickly and both sides are the right side! (for those friends who invariably display our gifts upside down).

Sizes after washing and drying:
Heavy Duty Placemat (double strand) size: 12 in x 17½ in. Best for sturdiness and holding its shape without blocking. (shown in photos)
Light Duty Placemat (single strand) size: 11 in x 15 in
Table Runner (single strand) - 11 in x 30 in
X-long Table Runner - 11 in x 45 in
Please note that place mats will appear almost square until washed and dried and will shrink to a rectangular shape. The pattern has directions on how to adjust pattern for a yarn that does not shrink (acrylics).
