I live in Winterpeg/Winnipeg. It is freezing cold here for a few months. (It really is very warm in summer.) When I wrote this pattern, the temperatures were in the minus 40s (that’s centigrade).

Originally knit with a (discontinued) bulky Noro yarn, I have tested with bulky hand-spun yarns for happy results. It is pattern that is easy to customize.
