Rebellion Mosaic Overlay Blanket/Throw
Rebellion is a blanket which is all about texture, rather than pattern. Because of the one-colour, the pattern is very subtle. It is a repeat design, the repeat being 86 stitches wide. There is also a 48 row vertical repeat. I did one repeat horizontally and 2 vertically which made a small lap blanket. I named it Rebellion because although this is still mosaic crochet, it is breaking some of the traditional rules of mosaic by only using one colour and not cutting the yarn at the end of each row, but instead making one chain and turning your work (as you would in traditional crochet). All odd numbered rows are SC only. It can also be done using the traditional 2 colours, both instructions are included.
