Rebird is worked seamlessly from the top down. It starts with a yoke worked in the round and continues with raglan increases and lace yoke pattern. After completing the yoke, extra rows are added across the back section to finish the yoke shaping and create a higher back neck. The body is joined in the round and extra stitches are added to each underarm. The sleeves are then worked top down to the cuffs in pattern stitch. The length of both the body and the sleeves are adjustable. You can choose the short-sleeved version, the elbow- length sleeves version, the long-sleeved version, or better yet, the long-sleeved version embellished with the lace pattern of the yoke.
