A pretty yet simple beanie hat and scarf. This hat and scarf set features a close shell pattern with ribbed stitching around the band of the hat and at the ends of the scarf. The scarf has buttons that allow you to wear it either as a regular scarf or as a cowl.

Size: Hat sized to fit average adult woman’s head (21–22 inches). Scarf measures approx. 65 inches long.

Materials: Aran or heavy Worsted weight yarn and size I (5.5mm) crochet hook or hook required to obtain correct guage. Three buttons about 1 1/8 inches.

Gauge: 13 sts x 7 rows = about 4’’ in shell pattern (rows 5-6 of scarf).
