I don’t know about you, but come September all I want to do is celebrate the beginning of Fall in every possible way! There’s a crispness in the air and the corn and soybean fields are starting to turn gold, which means that harvest time is just around the corner. Récolte is French for “the harvest”, the inspiration for this sock pattern. The baubles and twisted stitches on the leg look impressive and complicated, but are actually very easy to work. If you’d like, you can continue them all the way down the foot; however, I’ve switch the pattern to an easy 4-strand braid motif, to make these socks more comfortable to wear in shoes. Either way, you’ll end up with some absolutely beautiful socks!

Materials:
• 300-460 yards of fingering weight yarn. Shown in francofille knits “Épices” on Chaussette II (437 yards 100 grams; 85% Superwash Merino, 15% Nylon)
• US size 1 (2.25 mm) circular needles with 40” cable (or preferred sock needles).
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
• At least 1 stitch marker (if desired)
