Recycled "plarn" can cozy
This pattern is
available for free.
Making “plarn” (plastic yarn) is the perfect use for getting rid of those single-use plastic grocery sacks you might have laying around. These cozies are always the talk of the block whenever I bring them to a neighborhood get-together :) I’ve made so many that I’m actually running out of bags!
The blog post contains a full detailed photo tutorial for creating the plastic “yarn” and making it into a cute & sustainable recycled cozy.
All you need to get started is 3-4 grocery bags (thinner plastic is easier to work with) and a size J/6mm crochet hook. There’s a little bit of a learning curve to working with plastic, but once you get the hang of it, the pattern is super easy & fun. I hope you enjoy!
