After being asked to design this specific species of salamander, I knew it was too cute not to create a pattern as well.

For the sake of realism, the legs are made with size 10 crochet thread, but I’ve also added instructions using regular worsted yarn for those not wanting to deal with small thread. Though the legs will turn out a little bigger, I find them almost equally cute. In addition to a photo tutorial of the feet, I’ve made a short video as well to clearly explain their construction.

As long as you follow the pattern and watch your tension, an advanced beginner could tackle this realistic little salamander. :D
