Red Brie Beanie
The Red Brie is a beautifully textured beanie that uses two kinds of stitches. Photo tutorials are included. Video links are provided to make the process of learning these stitches easier. There are two documents -- the pattern in worsted and light bulky weights.
Gauge in stockinette in the round after blocking, per 4in x 4in (10cm x 10cm)
US 7 (4.5mm) - 20sts x 26 rows
US 8 (5mm) - 18sts x 25 rows
US 9 (5.5mm) - 16sts x 23 rows
US 10 (6mm) - 15sts x 20 rows
Yarn usage, approximates
For worsted - 198yards (181 meters) / 145g (5.11oz) of Estelle Chunky
For light bulky - 107yards (98 meters) / 70g (2.5oz) of We Are Knitters
Consider going up or down a needle size to obtain gauge.
Measurement for both beanies are approximately 9in (23cm).
Sized for adults with 23in (58cm) head circumference.
