Fox Rhett in a Rustic cardigan. Alphabet sweater Letter V.

Note: Fox Rhett is based on the pattern of Wolf Zack, but the muzzle and tail are knitted differently. And of course, his new Rustic cardigan.

Skills required:

Cast on/Cast off/ Knit/ Purl/ Increase/ Decrease, SSK (SLIP, SLIP, KNIT), Kfb, Sl1, K2tog, PSSO, KLL, m1R, m1L, WT, TwR, C1F, C1B, Intarsia, CDD

Yarn: DK, worsted or light Aran yarn.

This fox is made from Drops Nepal / 63% Wool/ 35% Alpaca/ 75 m/ 50g (approx. 60-70 g/ 80-90 m) with the add-on of a small amount of Kid-Silk yarn.

Сolours:

RY - Red Yarn – the main color shade 2920 Mix
WY - White Yarn – small amount shade 0100 White Uni Colour
WYg - White Yarn and Kid-Silk held together – small amount mohair/lace weight yarn shade.

I used Drops Kid-Silk 01 Uni Colour (for muzzle and ears)
GY – Gray Yarn – tiny amount Drops Air 04 Mix (for ear tips)

For the sweater – 4ply/ fingering weight yarn.

Rustic cardigan is made from Drops Nord/ 50 g/ 170m/ 45% Alpaca/ 30% Polyamide/ 25% Wool (approx. 20 - 25 g).

Alphabet V sweater is made from BC Garn Semilla Melange/ 100% Organic Wool/ 175 m/50 g (approx. 20 - 25 g).

You’ll need:

Knitting needles: DPNs (Double Pointed Needles) 3 mm (US 2,5); 3,25 mm (US 3)
• Tapestry needle
• 3 small buttons
• Toy stuffing
• Stitch Holder (or small safety pin)
• Stitch Marker

Finished size: Fox height approx. 28 - 30 cm/ 11 - 11,8 inches (standing)
Cardigan approx. 10 - 11 cm/ 3,9 - 4,3 inches
Sweaters approx. 9 - 10 cm (3,5 – 3,9 inches)
