Decreasing stockinette sections between lace rows create a modern, elegant design. The shawl contains easily remembered repeats that are pleasant to knit and will create a shawl you’ll wear again and again.
The theme of this shawl is based on my interest in space and exploring the possibility of inhabiting Mars. The pattern includes a fun, short story line to guide you along your mission to the Red Planet.

Yardage requirements:

• 2 skeins Madelinetosh Twist Light 840 yards / 768 m used for sample OR
• 2 skeins Madelinetosh Merino Light 840 yards / 768 m

Note that my testers used more yarn. You might consider purchasing an extra skein.
