The Red Envelop/Pocket is very important item during the Lunar New Year. The red pocket is filled with money and is handed out to children, family and friends as a symbol for good luck. It is also called Hongbao in Chinese or Lai See in Cantonese.

When completed the small red pocket is 8.5cm tall by 6.5cm wide. The large red pocket is 10.5cm tall by 10.5cm wide

It has been made with cotton 8ply yarn and a 2.5mm size hook.
Depending your yarn and hook size, the toy may be larger or smaller.
