Red riding hat is an advanced beginner to intermediate pattern.

The cables on this hat are easy to create using basic stitches (knit, purl, k2tog, p2tog) and basic cable stitches. The hat is worked with double-pointed needles (or any circular knitting technique) from the bottom to the top and a pompom can be added at the top. It’s a small project that can quickly be completed and it makes a perfect winter gift!

S-M fits a woman’s head and M-L is fine for a man’s head.

The yellow hat was made with a bulky yarn and a gauge of 11 sts and 26 rows = 4”. The result is more loose and warmer than the original red hat.

Die Mütze wird mit einem Nadelspiel (oder mit mit einer anderen Technik zum Rundstricken, z.B. Magic Loop) von unten nach oben gestrickt. Optional kann ein Bommel an die Mütze genäht werden. Es ist ein kleines Strickproject, das schnell fertiggestellt ist.
