The Red Rocks Bowl Cozy was born from the proverb, “Necessity is the mother of invention!” I got sick of burning my hands on a hot soup bowl, or improvising with a stained “Ove Glove,” so I created a cozy that is simple, modern, and looks as good as it is practical. Can you imagine what a great gift these would make too?!?!

At less than a skein of cotton yarn, it is a fantastic stash buster! The pattern is shaped to fit a 5.5 inch soup bowl, but it’s totally adjustable! Worked from the bottom up, you can try it on as you go and adjust the number of increase rounds to customize it to fit your favorite soup bowl! Change up the colors for endless versions of this quick and easy pattern! Better yet… if you like this Pattern, check out my Red Rocks Basket with lid - you’ll love it too!
