I do like tams as they are shaped like berets but with less fullness at the widest point. I have a feeling that Rib pattern is pretty natural for reaching just right shape, but at the same time, it was not supposed to be too “ribby” for shape purpose, so instead of KxP rib I worked KxGarter rib to avoid some unnecessary elasticity. Nice feature about this design is that it could be worn in at least 3 different styles.

 Note: this pattern is quite simple, especially for those knitters who are familiar with working in the round. For this reason and because this is a freebie, customer support is not provided. Although, friendly pointing me to any mistake or typo found, is welcome and will be greatly appreciated.
