This pattern is to make a red toy double decker London bus. This pattern was written from scratch for a little boy who is bus mad and loved the final product!

The item shown in the photographs was made with UK double knit yarn and a 3.5 mm hook, however any suitable combination of yarn and hook may be used. Approx. width 12 cm, length 18 cm, height 11 cm, excluding wheels. The finished size of the product will vary according to the hook and yarn weight used.

The pattern is provided in two formats – full written instructions, including colour changes, and also as colour charts if you prefer to work from those.

The difficulty of the pattern is rated as intermediate as you will need to use tapestry/Intarsia crochet to achieve the colour changes.

Item can be customised with initials on the destination plates, etc.
