The RED VEST is knitted top down, starting at the back, leaving the stitches on hold, and continuing knitting on each shoulder until joined in the round.

It is inspired by a net texture, which is the origin of its name. 
It is an easy texture to weave, with simple crosses that you can make without the need for an auxiliary needle. This mesh texture is knitted only on the front of the vest and its back is knitted in stockinette stitch. 

It is knitted with a 6mm needle or what you need to reach the required tension sample, 12 stitches by 10 rows in 10x10 cms, which makes it a very quick knitting project, it will not take more than 2 weeks to achieve it. 

This vest is designed to be a warm garment to wear as a second layer and under a jacket or cardigan. 

Worsted or bulky yarn is recommended, depending on the tension sample, its neck is turtle-type, which will allow you to keep your neck warm and if you do not want to knit this type of neck, you can modify it by knitting fewer rows.

This is a project that requires just a few skins, I invite you to check the amount needed according to your size.

El RED VEST es un diseño que rompe las barreras estándar de tener una prenda para hombres o para mujeres, ya que este diseño esta pensando y creado para que sea sentador en todo tipo de cuerpos, siendo 100% unisex.

La textura del diseño delantero imita una red, y de ahí nace el origen de su nombre. La trama es fácil de seguir y de tejer, se realiza solo con cruces simples y puede realizarse fácilmente sin la necesidad de una aguja auxiliar.

Su construcción es desde arriba hacia abajo, partiendo por la espalda tejiendo en plano, para luego armar ambos hombros y unir en redondo. Es importante mencionar que la textura del vest solo va en la parte delantera, y que posee un hermoso detalle en sus hombros.

Este vest esta pensado para ser una prenda abrigadora perfecta como segunda capa y bajo una chaqueta o un cardigan. Su cuello es de tipo tortuga lo que te permitirá tener el cuello bien abrigado y en caso de no querer tejer este tipo de cuello puede modificarlo tejiendo menos vueltas.

Para tejer se recomienda utilizar hilado de grosor worsted a bulky y se teje con palillos 6mm, lo cual hace que sea un proyecto muy rápido de tejer.
