Materials

Yarn: 110 yd (101 m) bulky weight #5 yarn; shown knitted in #M080 Blue Blood Red, Brown Sheep Company Lamb’s Pride Bulky, 85% wool, 15% mohair, 125 yd (114 m) and 4 oz (113 g) per skein

Needles: One 16-in (40.5 cm) circular knitting needle, US 10 1/2 (6.5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge. US 10 1/2 (6.5 mm) set of 5 double-pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge

Notions: Stitch marker, Cable needle, Scissors, Yarn needle

Gauge: 15 sts x 18 rows in Cable Stitch Pattern = 4-in (10 cm) square

SPECIAL STITCHES: Right twist (RT); Cable Stitch Pattern

NOTE: Hat is worked in rounds from bottom edge to crown. Switch from circular needles to double-pointed needles when necessary during crown shaping.
