This cowl combines mosaic knitting with cushy garter stitch stripes. In mosaic knitting rows are worked in pairs, two rows using the same color. The first row work as indicated in the pattern. On the second row, using the same color, you knit the same sts you knit in the previous row, and slip the same sts you slipped. Choose two colors of yarn with lots of contrast for best results. The cowl is knitted top down and seamed.

The cowl can be styled like a triangle shawl, worn bandana style or to one shoulder. Bonus – it stays on! No fuss!
