Reflections: A Pillow
Intarsia provides exciting creative opportunities. Larger blocks of color can be easily achieved without using classical stranding techniques. In the case of this pillowtop, I featured what I call “Garter Stitch Intarsia” …obviously worked in garter stitch but using the intarsia techniques to create color blocks. It is easy to work and offers an interesting fabric and might make some ask, “How does that happen?” It is finished with an attached I-Cord bind off, resulting in a sophisticated elegant accessory for many interiors. Enjoy!
Two Skeins of Emma’s Worsted are required and worked with the Blue Sky Woolstok Bundle (Cool)…note, one color of this bundle is not used.
The attached I-Cord Bind off requires 3 60” Size US 5 (4 mm) needles.
