I designed “Reflections of the Sun” for my friend Elizabeth McClure who is an amazing friend in so many ways. When I asked her what she would like for her birthday, she immediately said that she would really like a beanie. As I began to knit, “Reflections of the Sun” was born.

This hat is the “Perfect” Beanie“. It is simple but classy, warm but breathable. I would suggest adding a few Ribbing Rows if you like a turned up brim. The finished product has quite a bit of stretch, yet is very fitted. PLUS, it has instructions for a “Bun Hat” finish! Two patterns, three different sizes! What a deal!
