These slippers, modeled after dancing slippers, bring Regency style into the twenty-first century. Wear them around the house as graceful slippers, and be sure to add a leather or suede sole for safety on hard floors.

Yarn Ístex Álafoss Lopi (100% wool; 109 yd 100 m/3½ oz 100 g): #0051 white, 2 skeins. Yarn distributed by Westminster Fibers.

Needles Size 10½ (6.5 mm): straight and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
