To fit average head circumference: 22 inches; 56 cm, both sizes fully covering ears. The Large is 2” deeper, for a slouchy fit.
For a tighter/looser fit, you can adjust the needle size you are going to use. Use 1 size smaller for a tighter fit and 1 size larger for a looser fit. Shown in size Large.

Yarn: Tosh DK by Madelinetosh (100% Merino - 100g/225 yd.): 1 skein - 180 (210) yards. Shown in colorway Silver Fox.
Needles: US7 (4.5mm) and US6 (4mm) - 16” (40cm) circular needles and US7 (4.5mm) dpn.
