The blanket is made up of 9 square tiles worked one at a time
and joined to each other during the last round;
11 rounds of edge around the squares:
4 rounds with interlaced arches

and 6 rounds of shells sts; plus 5 Roses of 16 Petals each,
8 Hearts of Two Colors and 16 Suits of Playing Cards,
all worked separately and applied on the blanket at the end of work,
and all expecially created for this pattern

Square size: 23 cm × 23 cm /9.1 in × 9.1 in
Blanket size: 95 cm × 95 cm /37.4 in × 37.4 in

Suggested yarn:
Light weight yarn #3 of your choice for Hook G-6 (4.00 mm)
of the type: 50 g = 133 m /1.75 oz = 146 yds
Hook G-6 (4.00 mm)

In this project I have used the DK / 8 ply (11 wpi) yarn:
Bravo by Schachenmayr Original (100% Acrylic Yarn)
Each skin is ~50 g.=133 m. /1.75 oz=146 yds
