I love knitting socks! It’s a project that can be easily picked up whenever I only have time for a few rounds and I can take it with me anywhere! If you’re also a sock enthusiast, you’ll love knitting this design. It features a fantasy stitch that’s very easy to remember, making it ideal to take everywhere!

Regina socks are worked from the cuff down to the toe, and features a standard flap and a reinforced heel. Written for three feet sizes, it includes both written and charted instructions for the fantasy stitch.

Techniques used: increases and decreases, Kitchener Stitch, German Twisted Cast-On, Magic Loop technique for knitting small circumferences. All the techniques used are explained in the instructions and in videos linked from this pattern.

Sizes: (1, 2, 3)

Foot width: (18, 20, 23) cm/(7.25, 8, 9.25)”. You must measure the circumference of the foot at the widest part.

The socks are designed to be worn with negative ease. Choose a size with a foot circumference approximately 2.5 cm/1” smaller than the actual circumference of your foot.

Foot length: Adjustable. To find your foot length, you should measure from the tip of your toe to the end of your heel.

Gauge: 32 sts x 48 rounds (10 cm/4”) in fantasy stitch, knitted in the round and blocked.

Suggested needle size: 2.25 mm/US 1 circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge, 80 cm/32” long or longer. Alternatively, you can use short needles (23 cm/9.25”) or double-pointed needles.

Weight: Fingering.
