Reginetta Shawl features lacy motifs and Tiziana’s Lacy Vikkel, an innovative way I developed to work lacy vikkel braids and fancy horizontal stitches with ‘buds’ and beads.

The body of the shawl is worked top down from neck to bottom, the edging is knitted on joining the live sts of the body to the edging sts. Directions are given for a half circle version (4-wedges = 4/8), a 5/8, a 6/8 and a 7/8 version. The first picture shows the 7-wedges version. The shawl can be worked either with one color, two or more colors, the “Samples_Reginetta.pdf” contains the pictures and the specifics of all the test samples.

Reginetta is the second of three patterns that feature this fun, new technique; it can be bought individually and will also be available with a promotion as a collection called “Lacy Caterpillars”.
The collection does include this shawl, the Fancy Braids neck warmer, and Lacy Jewels cowl. These three patterns are offered at EUR 11.00 total (VAT excluded).

If you purchase this pattern, and bought/will later buy the other patterns that are part of the collection, the price of this shawl will be deducted from the cost of the collection.
