One of my friends was given a lovely hat that another friend had found in a charity shop. It suited her so well she was keen to have another. I couldn’t find quite the right pattern in Ravelry so I reverse-engineered it. It’s designed to be worn as a beret, but it also works as a beanie.

Tension given is for Medium size using 5mm needles.
The Small size is worked on 4.5mm needles.

The initial garter stitch edge is worked in smaller needles i.e 4mm for Small, and 4.5mm for Medium
