Reid Pullover
After the success of my Reid Cardigan, a pullover version was suggested. I wanted this new design to be the same… but different. Reid Pullover has the same drape and flattering shape, with a slightly fuller fit (for layering), updated details, and a full-length sleeve. This has quickly become one of my favorite styles to wear. Its cozy, like your favorite sweatshirt, but oh so elevated.

- 24” circular needles in size US 6 (4 mm) or 1 size smaller than size used for gauge.
- Needles suitable for working small circ. in the round in US 7 (4.5mm) and US 6 (4mm), for sleeves.
Gauge
19 sts and 25 rows = 4” (10cm) in Stk st on larger size needle, after wet-blocking.
Notes
This pullover is knit top down, with raglan increases. It begins flat and is then joined in the round. You will separate for the sleeves, placing those stitches on hold, until the body is completed. The bottom has increases worked within the Twisted Rib.
I get asked about sizing quite often. For this design, I recommend 2-5” of positive ease (this means you add that amount to your ACTUAL measurement- the widest part) and that will give you the Finished Measurement size you should choose.
A note about yarn choice: Either a fluffy DK or light-worsted will work for this gauge. The Solstice DK used in the sample is a blend of wool, cotton and silk, which enhances drape. A yarn with a tighter twist will produce a more defined, solid shape.
