Reiko Ruffle Skirt
The Reiko Ruffle Mini Skirt is a beginner-friendly crochet pattern featuring a shell-lace band, flowy ruffles, and optional bow accents. This pattern is made-to-measure and fully customizable in it’s design! Crocheters may decide how much/little ruffles to create, as well as a mini / midi / maxi length!
Although this is a made-to-measure pattern, I provide my own measurement preferences, stitch count, tips & advice to help you get a better feel for how this skirt can be sized larger or smaller. This skirt may be recreated with any weight and fiber of yarn (and corresponding hook size) - but it is recommended to use a stretchy fiber such as wool/acrylic, as cotton fibers will not allow for adequate stretch.
Since the sizing & weight of yarn is up to you, the listed yardage is approximate for #3 DK weight. Yardage for heavier/lighter weights of yarn is at your discretion.
XS - M : < 600 yds.
L - XL : < 900 yds.
XXL + : ~1100 + yds.
Other Materials:
-5.0mm hook
-stitch markers
-scissors/darning needle
-ribbon/accent yarn (optional)
To guarantee a more precise fit, I recommend using a measuring tape ALONG with trying on the skirt as you work (wrapping it around yourself for reference).
